Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data Textlark ("we", "the studio") collects on textlark.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have. We provide SEO-focused copywriting and editorial content for small businesses and process data in line with the GDPR and applicable data-protection law.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Textlark, a studio based in Kyiv, Ukraine. For any privacy question contact us at hello@textlark.com or on Telegram @Nikolaevi4.
2. What we collect
We deliberately collect as little as possible:
- Form data: your name, an email or contact handle, your website address, and the topic and message you send us — all provided voluntarily.
- Analytics: de-identified usage data (pages viewed, device, approximate region) via Google Analytics 4, only after you consent.
- Technical logs: IP address and request data our host keeps for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect special-category data and we do not buy data about you from third parties.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- To answer your enquiry, prepare demo articles and a proposal — basis: your request and pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To measure and improve the site — basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the site secure and reliable — basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We rely on trusted processors that handle data on our behalf:
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Google (Analytics) — usage statistics, only after consent.
- Telegram — delivering the text of your enquiry to our team (the message is relayed through our own secured server, not directly from the site).
5. International transfers
Some processors (Google, Vercel) may process data outside Ukraine and the EEA, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as we need it to correspond with you and run the project, then delete it once it is no longer needed. Analytics data is retained per our Google Analytics settings (up to 14 months by default).
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email hello@textlark.com.
8. Cookies
We use necessary cookies and, with your consent, analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its last-updated date.
